Company Managing Director attends Buckingham Palace reception given by HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.
In recognition of our company’s contribution to Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee year, Publications UK Managing Director Stewart Lee was invited to the Palace reception last week for The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust. Publications UK published the Official Diamond Jubilee Programme which sold in over 20 countries and raised £100,000.00 for the Trust, one of the biggest single donations. Speaking after the event, Stewart Lee said “This was a truly special evening in the State Rooms and it was an honour to have the opportunity to meet The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. I found myself in the unique position of being able to discuss our company’s work with both Her Majesty and The Duke – The Queen about our work on The Official Programme and with the Duke, the company’s Guards Polo Club portfolio of publications. The Duke is the founder and president of the Club.
The reception was also attended by other senior members of the Royal Family, including HRH The Earl of Wessex, HRH Princess Alexandra and TRH’s The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

During the summer, the company received a letter from The Queen’s private secretary which said:
“Her Majesty has asked that her warmest good wishes be passed on to all those at Publications UK who have worked to produce so many informative and beautiful commemorative magazines, including the official programme for The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.”
“Publications UK, founded in 1996, worked with The Royal Household to publish the Official Diamond Jubilee Programme commemorating Her Majesty’s 60 years on the throne. The company is also the long term publishing partner of the Guards Polo Club, producing the Annual Yearbook, Members Magazine and Cartier Queen’s Cup Programme. In June of this year, the company published “Sovereign of Tomorrow,” to mark the birth of HRH Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge.
